In March 1994, the Brevard Zoo opened its gates to the public as a Small Zoo That Does Big Things.They have over 900 animals to observe as well as opportunities to get closer to many of the animals in exclusive animal encounters, touch pools, and inside the petting zoo. Zoo Keepers host scheduled chats with guests to learn more about and interact with some of the animals.
