Welcome to the Winter Haven Food Tours community! Your free account helps you discover local experiences, connect with community members, promote events, and support local businesses. Use this guide to get started.

Getting Started

  1. Create your free account and choose Guest or Business Owner.
  2. Complete your profile so people know who you are or what your business offers.
  3. Explore the Community Calendar, follow members, send messages, and check your notifications.

For Guests

  • Discover local events: Browse the Community Calendar for food, music, family activities, classes, festivals, and more.
  • Post community events: Add an event for free using the event submission form. Events publish automatically, so please review all details before submitting.
  • Schedule recurring events: If an event happens more than once, select “Yes” under “Recurring Event?” and choose daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or custom dates. Always set an end date and review the full schedule before submitting.
  • Buy tickets: Select Buy Tickets on an event, choose the date and quantity, and pay securely through PayPal.
  • Use your ticket: Your ticket includes a unique QR code. Show it on your phone or as a printed ticket when you arrive.
  • Connect with the community: Follow members, add friends, send private messages, and use Notifications to keep up with activity.

For Business Owners

  • Promote your business: Create a local business listing with your description, contact details, website, photos, offers, and location.
  • Choose the right visibility: Review available options on the Partner With Us page.
  • Post events: Add classes, tastings, entertainment, special promotions, markets, and other community events.
  • Connect events to your business: When creating an event, use the “Choose Business Listing” field to attach it to your own business listing. This helps visitors move between your event and business profile and discover more about what you offer.
  • Use recurring schedules: For repeating classes, entertainment, markets, tours, or promotions, select “Yes” under “Recurring Event?” and choose the frequency and days. Set an accurate end date so outdated occurrences do not remain on the calendar.
  • Sell event tickets: After your event is published, open the event while logged in and select Sell Tickets. Add the ticket name, price, and available quantity.
  • Manage sales: Open Ticket Management on your event to view ticket types, sales, and reports.
  • Check in attendees: In Ticket Management, open Scanner and allow camera access. Scan the guest’s QR code, confirm that the ticket is valid, and select Redeem to mark it used. You may also enter the ticket number manually.
  • Reach more customers: Complete listings and quality event posts may be featured through Winter Haven Food Tours marketing channels.
